True story… so after I’m finished with the actual staging part of a home, if I have any extra time before picture day (which is like never), I like to organize the chaos that typically hides behind bedroom closets, laundry rooms, and garages (a service you can choose from N X T L V L ‘s a la carte menu). Buttttt since this extra time rarely exists, I am so excited I found the perfect person to tackle the job. I am proud to announce my collaboration with Isis Luna, Owner/Founder of Eco Luna Homes. She is the Dominican Republic version of Organizing Queen Marie Kondo, Host of Netflix’s hit series ‘Tidying Up.’

When I used to attempt to organize these cluttered areas, I would approach it from a more aesthetic standpoint. Isis not only organizes the clutter, but she transforms the chaos into something beautiful, while still making the areas super functional. She can use your existing hangers and storage boxes, or she can help you find ones with more swag, it’s all up to you and your budget how next level you want her to take it. She knows my high standard of how I expect things to look, with everything being color coded and perfectly aligned, and she surpasses my expectations every time. Basically, she is the next level version of a Professional Organizer.

I have always believed that when selling a home, you should make every square inch of both the interior and exterior of the property beautiful and organized. Not just the areas that are visible to the eye, but the neglected areas where most people like to shove all their crap into… like coat closets, bedroom closets, and garages. If you as a seller are expecting a buyer to pay a premium, then you need to understand the days of selling your home “AS-IS” are loooooong gone. It takes A LOT of work to make a home beautiful and tidy from the inside out, but trust me… it will be worth it.

We all know that when buyers preview a property, they open closet doors to see how large they are, open kitchen cabinets to see how deep they go, and take a peek in the garage to see how much room there is. You see, in my mind I always thought it was kind of a buzzkill to walk through a gorgeously staged bedroom, to only stumble across a messy closet at the height of my excitement. I’d think to myself… “You went this far in making the room look beautiful, why not just take the extra steps and make the closet beautiful as well? Why does the wow factor have to stop at the staging?” Well, it doesn’t.

I believe the beautiful aesthetics of a home should go beyond the staging, and that the next level love should be reached behind the closed doors and cabinets too, which is why I am so excited about my collaboration with Eco Luna Homes.
